American Journalists as Pawns in North Korea

John Matthew Barlow North Korea on Monday sentenced two American journalists working for Al Gore's Current TV to 12 years of hard labour. Laura Ling and Euna Lee were arrested on 17 March whilst researching a story on the plight of North Korean refugees -- most notably women and children -- looking for food and shelter in China.
